Information Obligation According to the Battery Act (BattG)

Please ensure that you dispose of your old batteries/rechargeable batteries, as required by law, at a municipal collection point or local retailer. Disposal with normal household waste is prohibited and violates the Battery Act. This disposal is free of charge. You are also welcome to return any batteries/rechargeable batteries purchased from us after use free of charge. Batteries/rechargeable batteries must always be returned to us with sufficient postage.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are clearly marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. Furthermore, beneath the crossed-out trash can symbol, you'll find the chemical names of the corresponding pollutants. Examples include: (Pb) lead, (Cd) cadmium, (Hg) mercury.

Devices with this marking must not be disposed of with residual waste, but must be returned to the responsible manufacturer or importer or recycled via the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities.
